24th Annual Custer Day

The 24th Annual Custer Day is this Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event is sponsored by the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Land of the Yankee Fork Historical Association.

Come join us for a fun-filled day in historic Custer, Idaho. There will be shoot-outs, hand churned ice cream, butter churning, gold panning demonstrations, treadle sewing demonstration, watermelon eating contest, raffles and much more.

Directions: turn off Highway 75 at Sunbeam and follow Forest Road #013 for nine (9) miles. Park at the upper Yankee Fork Gold Dredge parking to and take the FREE shuttle bus to Custer. No parking is permitted in Custer.

Don’t forget your sunscreen and bug spray and come and join us for some good old-fashioned family fun!
