Saturday July 1, 2023IDAHO (June 2023) – Join us Saturday, June 03, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Eagle Island State Park to showcase and celebrate outdoor recreation in Idaho!
Eagle Island’s 40th Anniversary celebration will be from 10 am to 11 am. Festival activities will begin at 11.
Food trucks, fishing, paddling, and fun!

Hosted by the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR), the Idaho Outdoor Recreation Festival is a full day of fun, featuring recreational lessons for kids and adults, exhibits, demonstrations, youth activities, giveaways, and exploring new outdoor activities offered around the Treasure Valley.
The Idaho Outdoor Recreation Festival is a perfect opportunity to learn about and experience Idaho recreation firsthand. Whether you’re an avid adventure seeker, or new to recreation, you will find great recommendations and instructions on taking advantage of Idaho’s outdoors.
¡VAMOS A PESCAR! Let’s go fishing! Join Idaho Fish and Game and on Saturday June 3 for a day of fishing! The RecFest Celebration will include countless family friendly activities, food trucks, and entrance to the park and fishing is free! Fishing equipment, instruction, and bait is provided, so all you need to do is show up! We’ll see you at the RecFest Celebration for a day of free fishing and family fun on Saturday June 3 at Eagle Island State Park from 9 am to 4 pm. Se habla Espanol.
The festival goal is to host an educational and informative event with an exhibit area that will provide attendees with a wide variety of exhibits, highlighting some of the many recreational opportunities in Idaho.
