April 2021:

Springtime at Round Lake has arrived! The campground is now open, this includes the electrical sites (25-39 & 6). Water in the park is shut off until the weather warms up, generally the first part of May.  No reservations are available at this time, camping is first come first serve.. You can make reservations for the peak camping season (May 20th through September 7).

The snow was very sparse this past winter which has kept the trails from flooding. They are in good shape and passable all the way around the lake.

The day use area as well as the boat ramp is open also

Rental canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards will be available starting Memorial Day Weekend.

Help us protect the trees within the park by adhering to Round Lake’s hammock policy. Using thin straps cuts into bark, leaving trees vulnerable to insects, animals, and disease.

  • All hammocks need at least 1-to-1.5 inch straps
  • Trees should be 6 inches in diameter
  • Hammock webbing must be at least 1-inch wide
