Water Quality Advisory
A health advisory has been issued for Lake Cascade and the North Fork of the Payette River below the Cascade Dam for a cyanobacteria bloom.
Winter 2024 Update (11/8/2024)
All campgrounds have been closed and winterized for the season. Winter camping is available in the boat ramp parking areas at Blue Heron, Van Wyck, and Poison Creek Units. As a reminder, campfires are not allowed on the parking lots.
Osprey Point Yurts remain open year-round. Reservations for the yurts can be made by calling 1-888-922-6743 or by visiting www.parksandrecreation.idaho.gov
Starting Oct. 28th, visitors may see digging of small holes in numerous locations across the Poison Creek Campground. This is an archeological examination of the area for any potential cultural resources and is related to the permitting for the proposed Tamarack Marina project. The work is expected to end by December.

As a reminder, we are moving to a new reservation system, so we are not taking reservations for 2025 until January 6, 2025. Stay tuned for more information.
