Idaho Fish & Game’s WILD Training for Idaho State Parks
The WILD about Early Learner training was developed here in Idaho and has ties to the nationally acclaimed Project WILD programs. While IDFG has eliminated the National Program for the time being, Lori Adams, (previous Project WILD Coordinator with 20+ years of experience) is now offering a training for State Park employees and seasonals. This program has been adapted from a 15-hour in-person training and will be offered as a virtual-asynchronous combination training.
What does that mean?
For this training, all you must do is register and show up at one of the fun, scheduled 45-minute training times. During this time, Lori will help navigate through the guide and the Google Sites link. The Google Sites link and the guide will be yours to use freely after you attend ONE of the sessions. To order a guide for your park, please register and let us know how many guides your Park would like. These easy-to-use guides will be yours to use however you see fit. The guides were originally designed for pre-K to 2nd grade, but it’s been found that the activities are popular with most age groups. They are also easily modified and Idaho specific! All of the activities include a main activity, and many supplemental ideas to support main activity.
Please choose the best time for you to attend the virtual Zoom meeting and let us know the number of guides your park will want.
