As of Friday, 08/13/21, there is a health advisory in effect for Lake Cascade

Central District Health (CDH), in conjunction with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), has issued a public health advisory, effective immediately, for Cascade Reservoir due to the presence of cyanobacteria, also known as a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB).
