PARK UPDATE:

Winter Access:

Camping has closed for the season and the water system has been winterized to most areas. Day use with vault toilets is available at Rocky Point, Plummer Marsh, Benewah, and Chatcolet. The Indian Cliffs Trailhead is also plowed and kept open. The camper cabins and cottages are available for rent throughout the year. Thanks, and have a wonderful New Year!

Trail Closures:

As a result of the Toetly Fire in August of 2021, there are some trails that are closed until after spring thaw when we can remove the hazard trees safely. The Appaloosa, Plummer Creek Fire Trail, and Whitetail Loop are all closed as they go directly into the burned area where numerous trees were seriously damaged. All other trails are open for use. Thanks for your patience and we will get the remaining closed areas open for public use as soon as possible.
