PARK UPDATE

Attention:

Hawley’s Landing and Benewah Campgrounds have both opened for the 2026 camping season, and Chatcolet is on target for opening Thursday May 21st. All park visitors please be aware that we experienced two major windstorms that did significant damage to the park. To minimize insect outbreaks, we have active logging occurring in the park. Trails still have extensive downfall, and we do not anticipate having all trails opened until mid to late summer. For most current information please contact the visitor center at (208) 686-1308 or email hey@idpr.idaho.gov.

We are currently accepting customers for moorage at the new Chatcolet Marina, with slips available for occupancy Memorial Day weekend at $2950 for the season. All slips have power service and slips under 25’ have covers. There is almost ¼ mile of promenade on Lake Chatcolet that is open to the public during day use hours, so bring your fishing pole and swimsuit.

Cabins and Cottages are reservable year-round.
If you want a cozy winter getaway, we are here for you! Have a great winter, and we will see you Spring 2026 at the grand opening of the Chatcolet Marina!
