2023-2027 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP)
This Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan provides a guiding document that identifies issues and opportunities in outdoor recreation and tourism in Idaho for the next five years.
The plan was submitted to the National Park Service after a period for public review and comment. The approved plan allows Idaho’s continuing participation in the Land and Water Conservation Fund and other grants programs, which fund $10-12 million in trail, playground, parks and other recreational amenities around Idaho each year.
2018-2022 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP)
This Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) is produced in order to provide an overarching document that identifies the issues and opportunities in outdoor recreation and tourism in Idaho for the next five years. Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter submitted this plan to the National Park Service, which allows for Idaho’s continuous participation in the Land and Water Conservation Fund state side grants program.
