Recent samples taken by Nez Perce Tribe Water Resources Division in Winchester Lake show elevated levels of toxins, produced by cyanobacteria, which can be harmful to people, pets, and livestock. All sites are pet-friendly with the exception of the Lodgepole Yurt.
There are four yurts at the park:
Lodgepole — Snowberry — Ponderosa — Tamarack
*Please note that Lodgepole is not pet-friendly
Only one vehicle may be parked at the yurts. The primary vehicle is covered by the camping reservation. All other vehicles must park in the overflow parking area and may be subject to the Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee plus an overnight fee as well.
