Seasonal Water Shutdown at Freeman Creek Campground
Please note that all water services at Freeman Creek Campground are now turned off for the winter season. This includes the closure of flush toilets, showers, and potable water sources. These amenities will remain unavailable until Spring, when weather conditions allow for safe reactivation.
We recommend that all visitors plan accordingly and bring sufficient water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning during their stay.

Dworshak State Park is located among trees and meadows on the western shore of Dworshak Reservoir. Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, waterskiing and disc golf are just some of the many activities that await park visitors. A boat ramp and handling dock provide easy launching most of the year. A fish-cleaning station is nearby to help with the day’s catch.
Whether you’re coming for the day or spending a week, Dworshak State Park provides a great setting for being with family and friends on the water or on the shore. An abundance of bass and kokanee delight anglers, trails challenge mountain bikers and hikers, and solitude awaits those in need of a peaceful getaway.
