Disabled Veterans Application

The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation offers eligible Idaho Veterans a lifetime pass with the following benefits:

  • Day Use: Waives the Motor Vehicle Entrance  Fee for one personal vehicle.
  • Camping: Waives the Usage Fees for one campsite per eligible veteran. This does not include cabins, yurts, or lodges. Advanced Reservation Fees still apply. 14‐night limit in a 30 day period.

Passes are Non‐Transferrable.

ELIGIBILITY

Veterans who are Residents of Idaho with a service‐connected disability rating of 100% Permanent & Total, or have a DV plate issued to them by an Idaho DMV are eligible to apply.

LOST OR STOLEN PASSES

Report your lost or stolen pass to the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation by contacting us at: (208) 334‐4199 or emailing idprveteran@idpr.idaho.gov with your name and address.

USING YOUR PASS
Pick up a Day Use or Camping fee envelope at the Park Visitor Center or Self Pay Station. Write “Veteran” and your pass number on the front side of the envelope. Display according to the envelope instructions. Display your Veteran Pass next to the envelope. Some parks require Camping Reservations so please visit our website to make one. There is an option to be able to apply your discount before checkout. To make a campsite reservation, please call 1‐888‐922‐6743 or go to Idaho State Parks Camping.
