Be Outside Idaho is supported by IRTI partners. Its goal is to get youth outdoors. Many Idaho schools, nonprofit groups, and governmental organizations are already using innovative methods to foster an appreciation of the great outdoors and to educate our youth about the importance of the natural world. IRTI supports new efforts and enhances current ones, by offering the Be Outside Idaho small grants program for schools, governmental entities and nonprofit organizations that encourage outdoor activities and natural resource education for youth.
If you’re a teacher, interpretive specialist, or program director for a nonprofit, we may be able to help. The application is simple. Tell us what you’re planning to do and the resources you need to do it.
