Avalanche Awareness Course

Because avalanches are the leading cause of snowmobile fatalities in the West, the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a free snowmobile avalanche awareness course. The class is designed to familiarize winter backcountry enthusiasts with hazard recognition and techniques for safe travel in avalanche terrain.
