A Thru-Hikers Idaho Centennial Trail Adventure

Wednesday, February 6, 2019 -
7:00pm to 8:30pm

Event will be held at the Boise REI.

Join us to learn about all things regarding the Idaho Centennial Trail with Dan Noakes who, during the summer of 2018, hiked the rugged 900-mile ICT from the desert of southern Idaho to the lush canopy of the Idaho/Canada border in just 52 days. Pounding through multiple pairs of shoes, braving extreme weather, blazing new trail, and fording intense spring runoff are just some of the things that defined his experience. He survived to tell the tale. Dan is 33 years old, born in California and now lives in McCall with his wife. He is a professional video animator and owner of Motifize, an animation studio focused on animated videos for businesses. He is an avid backcountry skier in the winter and enjoys staying active in the summer. This event is co-hosted by the Selway-Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation - stewarding central and north Idaho's 4 million far-flung acres.
