Star Gaze at Bruneau Dunes CANCELLED

Friday, October 9, 2020 - 6:30pm

Star gaze at the
Bruneau Dunes State Park Observatory!
Friday & Saturday evenings March 20, 2020 through October 17, 2020

You’re invited to star gaze at the Bruneau Dunes Observatory! See the night sky as you’ve never seen it before. View planets, nebula, or a galaxy through the “Obsession” 25-inch Newtonian Reflector telescope. Observatory tours and solar viewing (through a solar telescope) are available in the evening before the sun goes down. Program start-times listed are approximate and dependent upon sunset. Please bring insect repellent.

The 45-minute Observatory presentation is inside the Steele Reese Education Center and is followed by a viewing of the heavens through the Observatory’s collection of telescopes.

To maintain our night vision we only use red lights at the observatory.
