Seeking Solutions: Funding Non-Motorized Trail Recreation In Idaho

Thursday, February 11, 2016 -
6:00pm to 8:00pm

Idahoans love to recreate outdoors and interest in both motorized and non-motorized recreation continues to grow.

While motorized recreation enthusiasts have established successful registration or “sticker” programs to fund trail maintenance, it has become increasingly difficult to fund the proper maintenance of non-motorized trails for users, ranging from hikers to mountain bikers to horsemen and woman.

The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation invites you to a public discussion involving the full spectrum of recreationists, to explore issues pertaining to non-motorized trail recreation in Idaho and ideas for solving the non-motorized trail funding gap.
