TASK FORCE ASSEMBLED TO EVALUATE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE REGISTATION PROCESS IN IDAHO
IDAHO – In conjunction with Idaho Lawmakers, the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) has assembled a Task Force to evaluate and review the current registration process for recreational vehicles in Idaho.
The Task Force is comprised of a diverse group of Idaho recreation enthusiasts, representing every region of the state and current registration renewal vendors.
The goal of the Task Force will be to review current registration and renewal processes for Boats, ATVs, Motorbikes and snowmobiles and recommend improvements to IDPR that will meet the changing needs of the program.
“Our goal with this effort is to implement improvements to the current process that will help meet the core objectives of Idaho’s Recreational Vehicle Registration Program while continuing to provide the best customer service possible,” said Nancy Merrill, IDPR Director.
The group will hold their first meeting Monday, May 6, 2013 at 9 a.m. at IDPR Headquarters.
Once the Task Force has completed their work, late summer, 2013, a recommendation will be made to the Idaho Park and Recreation Board and a report will be published to the IDPR website: www.parksandrecreation.idaho.gov.
