Grant Funding Sought to Continue 'Stay on Trails' Efforts
The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is submitting a grant request to the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for fiscal 2015 in hopes of providing state support for the Idaho Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Public Outreach Campaign. In the past, the campaign has been jointly funded by IDPR grants, the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. The campaign provides educational and safety messages to OHV users statewide via a web site, http://stayontrails.com, videos, earned media, social media and paid advertising. The grant application would continue the public outreach campaign on behalf of these public agencies to encourage OHV users to ride safe, responsibly and on designated trails. Please share questions and/or comments regarding this grant request, via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
