Lake Cascade State Park Natural Resource Survey
August 14th
8 AM to 4 PM
Calling all naturalists and nature enthusiasts!  We are surveying the natural areas, campgrounds and day use areas around Lake Cascade for various flora and fauna, including birds, insects, plants, reptiles and amphibians.

You don’t need to be an expert to participate.  Bring whatever knowledge you have as well as a pair binoculars and any relevant field guides.

Be sure to bring good walking shoes, sun screen, water, snacks, a lunch, and whatever else you may need out in the field.

Meet at the Lake Cascade State Park Visitor Center (100 Kelly’s Parkway in Cascade) at 8:00 AM.  If you can’t stay all day, that’s okay, but be sure to have your own transportation.
We are also hoping to do a couple night surveys for toads, frogs, and owls.

Help us identify and better understand the wild world around us.  You never know what you may find!
