Volunteers needed for an upcoming trail project!

– 4 miles of multi-use single track trail near Kelly Canyon

– October 2 at 9 am

DIRECTIONS: FROM IDAHO FALLS GO THROUGH RIRIE, GO NORTH ON THE ARCHER HWY (S.600 E.). GO PAST TWIN BRIDGES
CAMPGROUND TOWARDS ARCHER. WHEN YOU GET TO THE 90-DEGREE CORNER GO STRAIGHT (TOWARDS THE CEMETERY) TO THE
4-WAY STOP. TURN RIGHT (E.7800 S.) GO PAST A ROCK QUARRY, CROSS THE RAILROAD TRACKS AND THE ROAD MAKES A “U”. IT
THEN CHANGES FROM PAVEMENT TO GRAVEL (STAY LEFT) AND IS NOW E. 8000 S. FOLLOW THE GRAVEL ROAD EAST FOR 2.7 MILES.
AT THIS POINT, THE ROAD CHANGES FROM GRAVEL TO PAVEMENT. CONTINUE EAST ON THE PAVEMENT TO THE STOP SIGN
(ANOTHER 2.2 MILES). TURN RIGHT AT THE STOP SIGN AND GO 2 MILES TO WHERE THE PAVEMENT ENDS. FROM THE END OF THE
PAVEMENT, IT IS 1.7 MILES ON A GOOD GRAVEL ROAD TO THE TRAILHEAD (LYONS CREEK ROAD). WATCH FOR THE SRMBC ORANGE
SIGNS ON THIS ROUTE.
