Celebrate National Trails Day!

9:00am to 5:00pm

(10 a.m- 12 p.m.) Harriman State Park Guided Hike: Join a ranger for this 2.4 mile hike along the Meadow Loop.  Learn about ways to leave less of a footprint in the outdoors! We’ll meet at the historic Jones House, at the ranch, at 9:30 a.m. for this 2 hour easy hike!  Bring water, snacks and sunscreen. Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes.  Age 8 and up recommended. Weather permitting.

(10 a.m.- 12 p.m.) Ashton-Tetonia Trail Bike Ride: Get out on the trails for National Trails Day and bike ride with a ranger on the Ashton-Tetonia Trail! Enjoy a 6-mile (round trip) ride through the beautiful farm country of eastern Idaho, crossing the Fall River Trestle, and views of the Teton range. This is an easy bike ride, suitable for most ages and abilities. Meet at the Marysville parking area, 2 miles east of HWY 20 off HWY 47.

(9 a.m.-5 p.m.) Jr. Ranger Trash Timeline Activity: Kids and their families will enjoy learning about common trash items and how long it takes them to decompose or break down. The answers might surprise you!
