Eagle Island is a 545-acre day-use park west of Boise that features a popular swimming beach, a grassy picnic area, a waterslide and more than five miles of trails for those looking for a place to ride horses, hike, walk your dog, or play disc golf.
The Park Today
January 2010
The park’s facilities have been winterized for the season. However, Eagle Island is open year round featuring multi-use trails for those looking for a place to bring their pet for exercise, go for a hike, run or ride their horses.
Our 18-hole disc golf course is also popular this time of year. Scroll down to print out a map and score card.
If you enjoy a quiet fishing hole grab your fishing pole, tackle box and come on out to the park.
Patrons may purchase annual passes by following the instructions on the self collect envelope at the park’s entrance or at the office located below the waterslide. Annual passes are now $35.00 for the year and the daily entrance fee is $5.00 per vehicle. Park entrance fees are in effect year round.
As park staff is limited this time of year and for your convenience, we have set specific winter office hours to Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm. However, park staff will be out in the park daily and checking messages regularly.
We are now taking reservations for the 2010 season. If you would like to make a reservation please call the park at 208-939-0696.
