IDPR Seeking LWCF Funds For Development Projects
The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant funding for three (3) development projects and ask for any input the public would like to provide. The projects are as follows:
Three Island Day Use Restroom/Shower Building – $200,000 total project costs – requesting $95,000 LWCF funding
- Renovate the day use area restroom, upgrade fixtures and add showers for Cabin renters.
Henrys Lake New Campground Development - $2,100,000 total project costs – requesting $300,000 LWCF funding
- Construction of an additional campground loop. It will include, restroom/shower facilities, 30 to 40 paved campsites with water and power, and will be directly adjacent to the existing boating facilities
Eagle Island New Picnic Shelters - $90,000 total project costs – requesting $45,000 LWCF funding
Build 2 new shelters for smaller-size groups to reserve and keep the large shelter available for large groups.
