Heyburn State Park Master Plan

The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR) is developing a new master plan for Heyburn State Park. The plan will supersede the existing master plan, which is 20 years old. The new plan will guide development and management of the park for the next 20 years.

The draft Heyburn State Park Master Plan was presented to the Idaho Park and Recreation Board in February, 2010. The draft plan was open for public comment until April 14. The draft is now under revision, incorporating public comments.

The final plan will be presented to the Board in May, 2010. That plan will can be reviewed here.
